First Lady Dianne Bentley was in Prattville today to read to the Pre-K students at New Life Christian Academy. During her visit, she talked to them about living in the historic Alabama Governor's Mansion and even showed them a picture of the swimming pool that is shaped like the state. Then she read two books which both got a lot of laughter from the young and captive audience.
It is always encouraging to visit schools and meet the future of the state. Children offer great perspective and are so honest. Mrs. Bentley is looking forward to her other school visits this spring as she kicks off another new year.
